So one of the first things I did at my welding class earlier tonight was to hurt myself. No, I didn’t burn myself. That would have been far too logical. What I did was to give myself a nice cut on my left index finger with my leatherman tool while trying to trim some casting sprue off the inside of my welding mask. Oops. At least the blade was sharp – I didn’t even notice really that I had cut myself until I saw the blood running down my hand…
