Alrighty, definitely feeling much better than I did this morning. The first interview this afternoon was at Alter Image, and the interview went well, the photographer there liked my work, and I’ll probably be working with him some time. The second photographer I saw today was totally cool, definitely liked my work, and I’ll almost certainly be working for him.
The coolest thing from this afternoon, though, was sitting in my car reading the paper waiting for my second interview to roll around. This was cool because while I was sitting there, I got a call from a studio I interviewed at a week ago. I am officially booked for a shoot tomorrow! W007!
I’ll be at the studio at 8:30 tomorrow morning until the shoot is done….which will probably be around 6:00 or 7:00 in the evening. A long day, but it’s my first “real” assisting work and could theoretically lead to full-time employment. Wish me luck!
