Study Area

So yesterday, while trying to study at my computer desk, I decided yet again (this is a conclusion I’ve come to before) that I can’t effectively study so long as I’m in front of my computer. Call it a self-control thing. Whatever. Anyway, I was rearranging my room and trying to figure out a way to make a secondary study area, and in the end I think I came up with a pretty workable idea. I took the keyboard tray off of my computer desk (I never use it) and put it between my two bookcases to make a new work area. Nothing too fancy, but that’s half the point. When it comes to sitting down and reading and getting some good notes taken, I think it will do the job fairly well. If nothing else, it’s another option I now have available. One step closer to getting back in the habit of regularly studying Japanese and my anth and sociology texts…
