Sometimes I really hate holidays. Like today, for example. July 5th – Independence Day. But wait, I thought that was July 4th. Well, it was, but apparently the US Postal Service feels like it deserves a real day off and so is observing Independence Day today. Meaning no mail. Also meaning, no mailing of photographs to my sister that she needs to get in about two days. Or getting stamps so I can send out mailers. Or for that matter getting a money order to cover a new camera that a guy is selling me for next to nothing.
On the 5th of July, life goes on for the rest of the world. Why the hell does the USPS have to complicate things so?
