So here’s the deal. While I was at school, my parents switched from their original dialup plan (that was unlimited) to a new plan that was limited to 150 hours per month, thinking that they’d never use even that much and so it was worth saving the $4 per billing cycle. Of course, they never told me this, so since I came home usage has skyrocketed and last month’s bill was over $100 because nobody ever told me (and in fact they had forgotten that they had switched plans). They switched back to the original, unlimited plan, but that change won’t be reflected in the limit on usage until February 13. And so, because I’ve already used a fuckload of hours this month, I essentially won’t be online to talk at all to anyone for about the next month. I’ll still keep up with my emails and weblog postings, as I can do either (aside from uploading) without having to be connected. So I’m sorry if I happen to appear to drop off the face of the Earth for a bit – it certainly is by no voluntary choice of my own. I’ll be back in due time.
